Possibly the most kitschy thing to hit chain restaurants, the Bloomin' Onion (along with the rest of the chain) is turning 20 this year. While I rarely go to chain restaurants Outback actually isn't too bad if you are stuck in the suburbs. They have a gluten-free menu and it is hard to mess up mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and steak.

Actually, I think the steaks at Outback are terrible. But, their sweet potatoes are yummy :)
