What's In Your Basket?

I shared my grocery purchases yesterday and it got me wondering about what other people buy at the grocery store. I thought it would be fun to have a one day event where we all share what we bought during one trip to the store.

To participate:

  • List everything you bought, even the potentially embarrassing bits

  • How much you spent

  • Share where you shopped

  • Post a picture (if possible)
  • Send me a link to the post to my email address : coconutlimeblog @ gmail . com

  • Post by January 25th, and the round up will be here on Jan. 27th.

I will definitely do this the next time I go shopping! too bad I was there yesterday, and didn't take pictures.

I worked on a grocery list today! To maintain the level of embarassment I feel I'm going to label what's mine, and what's the husband's. Ha.

And thanks for the invite!

You probably already know about grocerylists.org,
and that's not exactly what you're after here, but it's still entertaining.

Great idea Rachel. I'll take pics of what I buy this weekend at the grocery store.

I just emailed this to you, but here's my post. I will have pix up soon. Forgot my camera (of course), so I just took the photos of the groceries at home:

I'm sorry I missed this one! I love the idea though - I often look into my basket/cart and wonder what people think when they see what I'm buying because it's always a bit of an odd combo (and I know I'm checking out what they're buying).
